The Community

Perhaps one of the most alluring aspects to Seylynn is the community atmosphere this neighbourhood invokes.  It truly feels like a small town, despite being located just on the outskirts of a much larger city. New Development

As Seylynn gains in popularity, the neighbourhood is seeing a notable expansion to accommodate the influx in residents.  Notably, the Seylynn Village towers have increased livable space in the region and, with them, have come a slowly growing surge of anticipation.  Seylynn Village is slowly transforming the region into one of North Vancouver’s most exciting areas of growth. The arrival of more young people to Seylynn, in large part due to the Seylynn Village development, has given this little slice of North Vancouver an added bit of energy.  While the neighbourhood already had so much to offer, the recent developments are proving to add that much more vibrancy and opportunity to the mix.

Seylynn and Bridgman Parks

North Vancouver is undeniably known for its green space, and the Seylynn area is no different.  Like all neighbourhoods north of the city, residents of Seylynn get to enjoy their own unique neighbourhood parks.  Of particular note are Seylynn and Bridgman parks, located on the east and west banks of Lynn Creek running through the heart of the neighbourhood.  Both parks provide ample green space to walk the dog, explore with your kids, or simply relax by the peaceful flow of Lynn Creek. Additionally, both parks are currently in the early phases of a Master Plan with inspiring goals.  When all is said and done, the aim is to protect and enhance the existing forest and creekside habitats, further promote nature appreciation, education, and stewardship, increase park access and opportunities for recreation, art, events, and gatherings, improve security, and ultimately find a balance between human enjoyment and ecological preservation.
